The National Immigration Administration has announced that starting from December 17, 2024, the stay duration for foreign nationals eligible for visa-free transit has been extended from the previous 72 hours and 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days) . 相宜条目的外籍搭客，握用灵验期不少于3个月的本东说念主护照和240小时内已笃定日历及座位的赶赴第三国（地区）的联程客票或关系讲明并填写异邦东说念主临时入境卡，可向太原武宿海外机场的山西收支境边防检查站建议央求，经照章办理过境手续后入境。

Eligible foreign travelers who hold a passport with at least three months of validity and interline passenger tickets or other documents with a specified date and seat to a third country (region) within 240 hours, complete the Arrival Card for Temporary Entry Foreigners, can apply to the Shanxi Immigration Inspection Station in Taiyuan Wusu International Airport. After completing the required entry procedures, they can enter China.

免签停留时刻自入境次日零时起算。比如：游客2025年1月1日入境中国，停留期从2025年1月2日零时起算，最多可在免签停留区域内停留10天，即1月11日24时前离境。

The duration of stay for each foreign traveler starts from 0:00 on the day following the day of entry. For example: A foreign traveler enters China on January 1st, 2025. The period of stay is calculated from 00:00 on January 2nd, 2025. Traveler can stay in the designated areafor a maximum of 10 days, and depart before 24:00 on January 11th.

把稳行径界限：入境后，外籍搭客可依照划定在太原市、大同市或跨省旅行，合理筹算旅游蹊径，不得超界限停留。

Note the allowed activity area: After entering, foreign travelers are allowed to travel within Taiyuan city, Datong City or cross provinces, but they must plan their travel routes reasonably and not exceed the designated areas.

恪守停留划定：在华停留期间要恪守中王法律划定，入境后24小时内在货仓或公安派出所办理住宿登记。240小时内可从事旅游、商务、考察、省亲等行径。

Comply with stayregulations: During their stay in China, foreign nationals must adhere to Chineselaws. They must register at a hotel or local police station within 24 hours of arrival. Within the 240-hour period, they can engage in tourism, business, visiting, or family-related activities.
